MCCC OFFERING POPULAR ELECTRICAL APPRENTICESHIP -- LEVEL 1 TRAINING PROGRAM THIS WINTER
Due to extreme demand, Monroe County Community College and the Southeast Michigan Construction Academy will offer an additional Electrical Apprenticeship – Level 1 class that will begin, Tuesday, January 4, 2022, and run through the end of July 2022. Successful students will then begin Electrical Apprenticeship – Level 2 in September of 2022.

Monroe County Community College and Ned Birkey, MSU Extension Educator Emeritus, will present a Pesticide Training and Review class on Thursday, December 16, 2021, at the Monroe County Community College. The class runs from 9:00am to 4:00pm and costs $35.

Monroe County Community College celebrates 10th anniversary of developing skills for in-demand careers with DTE Energy Foundation
Monroe County Community College (MCCC) and the DTE Energy Foundation today celebrated the 10th anniversary of their partnership in MCCC’s Nuclear Engineering Technology (NUET) Program. The NUET program was established in response to increasing demand for highly skilled professionals in the nuclear power industry in the region including DTE’s Fermi 2 nuclear power plant.
