MCCC OFFERING CERTIFIED FIBER OPTIC TECHNICIAN TRAINING JANUARY 3 - 7, 2022

Monroe County Community College is offering three courses to prepare participants for a career in fiber optics. The classes will be held Monday, January 3 and ending on Friday, January 7, 2022. With these three sessions participants will be prepared to work as a Certified Fiber Optic Technician with specialist designation in Testing and Splicing. Read Press Release

MCCC'S 11 PERCENT ENROLLMENT SPIKE NO. 2 IN MICHIGAN AMONG COMMUNITY COLLEGES

MCCC HOSTS TRAINING WORKSHOP FOR HIGH SCHOOL WELDING INSTRUCTORS FROM ACROSS STATE

Since 2018, Monroe County Community College has partnered with high school career and technical education instructors to help them implement entry-level welding (AWS-QC-10) standards at their schools, and as part of this effort, the college’s Applied Science and Engineering Division hosted a weeklong training workshop in mid-August for high school welding instructors from all across Michigan.
